| Unravelling the dynamics of RNA degradation by RNAse II and its RNA-bound complex

Structure of RNAse II with four domains showing the secondary structure elements and a transparent molecular surface

Comparison of the wild type structure with the Asp209Asn RNase II mutant in complex with ssRNA

The first complete structure of RNase II from E. coli (new RNB domain) and an inactive mutant in complex with ssRNA. It provides the basis for specificity of ssRNA binding and cleavage and insights into the main steps of ssRNA hydrolysis, the mechanism of RNA translocation and enzyme processivity
